On this show, I served as the lead electrician, sound designer, programmer and I also ran the lighting console after the show opened! As lead electrician, I supervised a team of electricians during both the load-in and strike for the show, and I worked with the designer (Lauren Lee) on how best to implement her vision for the show utilizing a small rental package and the inventory of the theater we would be renting. I also attended rehearsals in the role of the sound designer, putting together a QLab file of everything needed for the show. During tech, I worked as the programmer, while also helping with any physical lighting notes and adjusting sounds in the QLab file to sound optimal in the theater. It was definitely a lot of work, but it was a lovely environment and it was great to work with Lauren and the director Leo Egger, both of whom I went to high school with! The first show I ever worked as an electrician on way back in 2018 was directed by Leo and lighting designed by Lauren... pretty wild! :D
