In the spring of 2024, I worked as the resident lighting technician at the Wexner Center For The Arts. With the help of Technical Director, Sonia Baidya, I acted as the head electrician on the plays that passed through the Wexner's black box theatre in their spring season. This consisted of prep work, leading the union crew at the load-in of each show, working as the programmer during tech and helping with lighting notes each day. I also worked as the lighting designer on concerts and parties in that space. Outside of the black box theatre, I helped set up projections and audio for one of the exhibitions in the Wexner's art galleries and worked as a union crew member on larger touring concerts in the Mershon Auditorium. After the end of the season, I worked with incoming Lighting Supervisor, Rowan Winterwood, to inventory the decades of various lights, lamps and equipment scattered throughout our storage. Overall, I got to work with a truly incomparable team and greatly broadened my lighting knowledge.
